At Cooinda Cat Resort we offer a number of services to ensure your Feline Friend has a restful and relaxing holiday.

All of our guests are supplied with bedding, scratching poles, food bowls and litter trays. At Cooinda Cat Resort the care of your cat is our number one priority and as such comes the cleanliness.

All apartments, food bowls and litter trays are cleaned daily using animal safe anti-bacterial & anti fungal cleaning products. You may supply an item of bedding if you wish however all guest are supplied with their own cubbies, including a big fluffy mattress and warm fluffy blankets.

Just like at the Hilton or the Hyatt you can request an electric blanket for your feline friends stay – especially good for those who are young, old or love to sleep under the doona with mum and dad. There is a small additional cost for a heating pad or lamp. Just ask when you call for a quote.

Special Diets – can be catered for. At Cooinda we stock a wide variety of premium dry, fresh and tinned foods. Whatever your furry friend likes to eat just let us know and we will feed them the same thing. We do ask however that if your cat is on a prescription or specialty diet food that you do bring this with you along with the specific instructions for their feeding regime.
Fussy cats are our specialty at Cooinda – meal times at Cooinda Cat Resort are like dinner at Jacques Reymond – so much beautiful food, so little holiday.

Medications – can be administered to those of our guests who are unwell or on a lifetime program of medication. Insulin & more complicated medication programs can also be catered for.
There is a small additional charge for this service – please ask when you call for a quote. We do ask that you provide us with a brief medical history of any cats that are on medication so we understand their care requirements. Please also ensure that you supply us with more medication than we require should your cat have an extended stay due to changes in your plans.

Kitty Kab – is our pick up and delivery service. We understand that your time is valuable. Getting ready for a holiday can be stressful enough without a trip to the Cattery, not to mention the guilt meow’s that come with the trip.
The Kitty Kab runs 4 days a week into the City, Bayside, Eastern and South Eastern Suburbs. Pick up and delivery time is between 7am and 9am – nice and early so you can still get to work or to your flights. Please ask for a quote for the Kitty Kab as well as pick up days when you call.
For local Kitty Kab services – these operate 6 days per week (no service on Sundays) and time can be confirmed when you call and book. Please ask for a quote when you make your booking. In an emergency situation the Kitty Kab will be at your place at a time we arrange.

Interstate and International Transport – can also be arranged. Please don’t hesitate to speak to us about how we can help you to transport your beloved pet to your new home, either interstate or overseas.

Grooming – we do offer a grooming service 2 days a week. While our guests are given brushes, pats and lots of hugs while they are with us, those that need a more comprehensive groom can be done while they are with us.
Price is on application and is dependant on the time and number of staff required to groom your furry friend. We are unable to do sedation grooms and if your friend is especially fiery about being groomed then we can recommend other service providers who are better equipped to groom your Cat.
We do also offer grooming to visitors who are not staying with us – please contact us to make a booking or for more information on this service.

Vet Services – we have an excellent feline vet on 24 hour call. As well as this we have access to a state of the art Vet Hospital only 10 minutes drive from our property that has all the latest equipment.
Should your cat need vet care while in our care we will make every effort to contact your Vet. We will also contact our Vet and depending on the urgency of the treatment required and the distance to your Vet we will decide on the necessary course of action. We will contact you if Vet treatment is required so please do leave relevant emergency contact information when booking in your cat. If you do have specific instructions regarding any Vet treatment just let us know when you check in.

Vaccinations – as is required by the Victorian Boarding Code of Practice, all guests at Cooinda Cat Resort MUST arrive with up to date Feline Enteritis Vaccinations (Cat Flu). Please speak to your Vet about this if you are unsure however we require that your cat be up to date with an F3, F4 or F5 vaccination.
If your cat does require a vaccination we do request that this is done at least 2 weeks before arriving at the cattery. You MUST show us the vaccination certificate or card on check-in, if not we will be unable to admit your cat for boarding. If you have any questions about this then please don’t hesitate to ask.

Adoption Services – At Cooinda Cat Resort we have a number of older clients who entrust us with the care of their animals when they are unwell. One of their greatest concerns is who will look after their precious friends once they are unable to.
At Cooinda Cat Resort we offer peace of mind to these people and their cats that we care for so much. From time to time we do have cats that may need a new home because their owners are unable to care for them any longer.
We like to match these cats to a new owner to our best abilities so if you are looking for a new furry friend give us a call as we may have someone who needs a new slave oppps we mean owner!
For those of our client’s cats who are too old to re-house they get to live their lives out at the resort. We love them very much and you will too – have a look at some of the images in our photo gallery.
